Your Dream Life is Waiting- Leave your Comfort Zone and Take Action Now

Do you know what’s bigger than any task you decide in life?

It’s the purpose & mental energy behind it.

And, do you know what will happen if you don’t do that task but constantly ruminate about it?

That imaginary task will turn into a mental, psychological, & physical burden.

It will travel from your mind through the entire body and will manifest in unimaginable ways.

Correct?

Also, in your mind, you must have thought about doing so many things.

Things that lighten your day,

Things that make you happy about your future,

And, things that open possibilities of a “beautiful” or “successful” life.

Right?

But what if, in the middle of all this, you got these thoughts and feelings like

  • Doubt,
  • Fear of failure,
  • Feeling of not being enough or worthy,
  • Thinking of delaying your task or procrastinating,
  • Or overthinking about dangerous scenarios that play in your head or that some things might go wrong

It’s humane.

We all have been there.

So, in order to deal with the problem of procrastination, how do we tackle this and directly jump to the action part, without delving into uncomfortable thinking patterns?

  1. Feeling is temporary, action is permanent.

You know, I have imagined many scenarios in my mind. Some knowingly, some just came to me.

They brought uncomfortable fears that stopped me from doing what I wanted to.

I wanted to shape myself, i.e., lose some weight.

But something triggered me there. People would tell me to focus on myself and my body.

I used to think that,

Am I worthy of this?

Am I not enough now?

On the other hand, I never saw that I had to change my habits.

I was addicted to food and used food to numb myself. I would just dissociate from my body and not feel it.

Something inside of me wanted to be there, be there in my comfort zone.

And losing weight would have been a monumental change in my life.

The girl who was always fat, was going to change,

Change for the better.

Even during my entire weight loss journey, I was triggered by my own thoughts while eating food or working out.

So, thoughts will come when you are trying to achieve something in life.

Some will back-track you, some will propel you.

What you do after that will decide everything.

These thoughts are ever-changing.

And you have to sometimes question them before moving forward.

  1. Like is this thought really helping me?
  2. Where is this thought coming from?
  3. Why are you getting this thought?
  4. And is there something you can do to change it?

Create a diary of your thoughts and log all your thoughts. Go deeper. There you will find out as to why you are feeling such a way.

This process will unblock all the barriers from doing what you want and what you need to do.

  • You didn’t come on this planet to be a thinker alone.

I have spent months and years of thinking and not taking any action.

You know why?

Because the idea kept me safe.

It kept me safe from the unknown and helped me stay in my comfort zone.

I always used to think that,

“I’ll be fine since I have this business plan.”

Or,

“I have time, now I can chill.”

These have led me stay in my thoughts when I could have created something on Earth. Created something of my own.

So don’t be a victim of your past actions.

Don’t keep yourself safe. If you do so, you’ll be standing there forever.

  • Life is much bigger than fear

Any problem, suffering, trouble or challenge is smaller in front of life.

This word “life” which was given to us, was not meant to be succumbed to any worldly problem.

Rather, they were all meant to make us grow and evolve.

Fear was nothing but a block between success and failure.

Once you release it, you are free and wiser to succeed in life.

Be it anything. Life, sports, academics, relationships, or career, don’t let fear engulf you.

Rather, feel it. Feel it to the core.

Know the reasons behind, and do it scared.

Just do it finally.

  • Understand the “WHY” and you are halfway there

Recently, I was talking to a colleague who sits next to me.

He said, you know, there’s a guy, who left his house, took a huge car/truck and built a home. He had this sense of knowing that this is what he wanted.

To travel and work.

And not be bound by the uncaring walls of the corporate world.

We both saw his reels and photos on Instagram and thought that it was so cool.

And that we should also do it.

But I told my colleague,

“You know, all this looks beautiful, but it’s courageous too. You need to have a strong “why” as to why you want to embark such a journey. You really have to know what do you really want in life. Not because someone is having it and enjoying it, but something that you are “called” to enjoy.”

With this, it became clearer to me that there are very few things in life that really matter. And those things should have a meaning and purpose to my life.

It might not make sense to others, but it will perfectly fit for me.

So, it’s not that the task in hand is difficult, more importantly, it’s the calling and the reason to do that task.

Secondly, there’s another concern I have observed in people, and that is,

Many people know that this is their path, but they are happy in the knowing instead of actually going after it.

Whatever the situation may be, one day or the other, you and I will have to fight for it and achieve it. We may delay, but we can’t delay so much.

  • Once you know the “WHY”, take charge of your life

Many people come to the realization quite late. Many come to it early.

What’s important is you are perfectly aligned with where you are currently.

If you know the “why” and feel “called” to take action now, then you time has come.

On other days, your task might be to clear your internal thoughts so that you can finally align with your purpose.

It’s not easy.

There’s a lot of work to do.

So, we must.

We should be thankful that we have a purpose and a reason to live.

Let’s rejoice in that and finally take the action.

In our time. Mine and yours.
